As a human being, you value your life too much to have someone not trained as a surgeon to operate on you. You would never accept someone trained as a plumber or a car mechanic performing surgery on your body because you know that could be fatal. Someone who is trained to fix leaking pipes and cars does not know how to perform surgery on a human body. This works the other way as well; you would never have someone trained as a surgeon to fix a leaking pipe in your house or your car. A person trained as a surgeon does not know how to fix a leaking pipe or a car. You place to much value on your health, your life, your car, and your possessions, to let that happen.
Right now there are more than 40 000 + different Christians denominations in the world, and they all claim to have the answer, but most of them seem unable to cooperate even though they confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. There are billions of surgeons, car mechanics and plumbers in this world, but if you asked all the surgeons how to perform an appendectomy, you would get the same answer from all of them. If you asked all the plumbers how to fix a leaking pipe and mechanics how to fix a car, you would get the same answer from all of them. There are not 40 000 different ways to do an appendectomy, fix a car or fix a leaking pipe, there is just one way.
Yeshua (Jesus Christ) says in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” So according to His own words, there is just one way to the Father and not 40 000 different ways. Why then do we have more than 40 000 different Christian denominations in the world today who seems unable to cooperate with each other, even though they all confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior? In John 17:21 Yeshua prays for all those who believe in Him to be united as one. Is this a reality in the world today?
Surgeons, car mechanics, and plumbers are three words that define three different professions. Regardless of where you live or what language you speak, everyone knows what a surgeon, a car mechanic and a plumber do for a living. If you asked 1o different Christians from 10 different denominations to define Jesus, you would get ten different answers. You can even find Jesus in the Quran, and in New Age, he is an alien floating around in a space ship.
Why is there so much confusion about Jesus when the Bible says there is only 1 Son of God?
In 2018 the Barna group found that 14% of the adult population in America read their Bible each day. 83% of all Americans identify as Christians, so that would mean that 69% of all Christians in America do not read their Bible every day. How can you identify as a Christian if you dont read your Bible every day? How can you know what is false doctrine if you dont read your Bible?
How can you be a car mechanic, a surgeon, and a plumber if you never study how to fix a car, operate on a human body and fix leaking pipes?
If your faith is built on how others interpret the Bible for you, it is easy to understand why there is so much confusion about Jesus.
You would never allow someone who does not know what they are doing to operate on your body and fix the pipes in your bathroom or your car. So why then would you allow someone who dont knows what they are doing to tell you what the Bible says? The answer is this, you value your health, your car, and your possessions more than you value your soul and this is why you are going to hell even though you have “asked Jesus into your heart.”
Right now there are billions of Christians in hell who based their faith on how others interpreted the Bible. They did not value their soul and eternity enough to read Gods word so now they are experiencing the consequences.
The Bible says the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. So the Bible clearly says we have an enemy who hates us and is seeking a way to destroy us. He does not want you to read your Bible because he knows that if you base your faith on what your pastor, evangelist or favorite author says you will one day wake up in hell. The Bible says Yeshua used the Bible to fight the devil in the desert. In Rev 12:11 it says those who obey the Bible and believe Yeshua died for them will overcome the devil. How can you overcome the devil if you dont know what the Bible says? How can you avoid being devoured by the devil if you have no weapon in your hand to fight him the way Yeshua fought him in the desert?
It is not possible to be an overcomer in life if you never read the Bible and allow it to speak for itself. And this is why we have more than 40 000 denominations, and we can’t agree on how Jesus is. Christians build their faith upon the opinions of man we end up following a human being instead of following Christ.
When 14% of all adults in 2018 read their Bible each day, it leaves 69% who claims to be Christians, but dont read their Bibles on a daily basis. If they dont base their faith on the Bible, it means 69% are following their favorite TV preacher/writer/pastor instead of following Christ. They claim to have a relationship with Christ, but they never open His book, and they never care about what He says. Instead, they read a lot of man’s opinion on the Bible and listen to man’s sermons about the Bible. You see this if you walked into any Christian bookstore or searched Amazon.com for Christian books, there is money to be made in publishing a Christian self-help book. There are tons of Christian books all claiming to have the answer to our problems or the correct understanding of the Bible, and there are tons of different preachers and denominations all claiming to have the answer and the truth to our problems but there is only one book which holds the truth, and that is the Bible.
If you read Christian books more than you read your Bible, you are following the author more than you follow Christ. If you allow your pastor or your favorite Christian author/bible commentary to influence and tell you what to believe, you have made that man or woman into your god, and that is idol worship.
Is it any wonder we have 40 000 + denominations, people are confused about Jesus, and we are far away from the desire of Yeshua to be one? We have this confusion because people have stopped following Yeshua and obeying Him, instead, they are following and obeying mortal human beings. This is happening because we dont value our souls enough to make sure our faith is built on the Bible and what God says. Instead, we accept what comes from mortal human beings as food, when we should only be eating and nourishing our souls on what comes from the word of God.
We can’t claim to have a relationship with Jesus if we never open His book the Bible and allow it to speak for itself.
If we are to value our faith and our soul just as much as we would value our lives and our possessions, we will start reading our Bible the way we read any other books. We would begin with Genesis and read it all through revelation and allow the Bible to speak for itself.
There is a lot of confusion who Jesus is, but in the Bible, we find only one Son of God and His name is not Jesus it is Yeshua. Yeshua is short for Yehoshua which means Yehovah saves, so we know from His name Yeshua is Yehovah the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. By reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, we are introduced to the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. We see Him being a God of love who fights for His people, frees them from slavery in Egypt but also a God of justice who makes sure sin has consequences when He kills the child of David that was conceived with Bathsheba. We see Him being the God who gives His people a law they are well able to obey, a law that will ensure and guarantee peace, prosperity, physical wellbeing and security for all who believes in and obeys Yehovah. Sadly the people did not want this, so they disobeyed Him and refused to listen to God, so He had no choice but to divorce Himself from them. He still loved them, so He had to find a way to get them back as His people, but His law says it would be an abomination for Him to take them back after a divorce. He found a way by being born as a human being, teaching us for three and a half years how to obey Him, and then dying on a cross freeing us from the law of jealousy so we could come back to Him and walk with Him in obedience to the Torah.
When you read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation you will soon see there is only one Son of God and His name is not Jesus, it is Yeshua. Suddenly you understand He would never have come to set us free from the law of Moses because He is the one who gave us the law and called it a delight. You understand He would never have eaten any unclean things or ignored the Shabbat because He is the one who gave us the Shabbat and told us to eat only clean food.
When you value your soul so much that you allow the Bible to speak for itself, all confusion stops, and you understand there is only 1 Yeshua.
There is nothing wrong with calling Him Jesus, Jesus is the English version of the name Yeshua. But you have to remember that right now we find someone called Jesus in New Age, in Islam and Christianity. In Christianity, we find several different versions of jesus, in some denominations he allows abortion and homosexuality, for others he allows worship of statues of Mary.
There is nothing wrong with you using the name Jesus because He hears your prayers on account of your faith in the cross, shown in obedience to the Torah. But at the same time, it leaves you open for deception considering the confusion when it comes to the name of Jesus. If you use His real name, Yeshua you know what is right and what is wrong about Him because there is only 1 Yeshua. So when someone says to you “Jesus would allow abortion or homosexuality” you know that is wrong because Yeshua in the Bible would never allow something that is forbidden in His Torah.
So even though there is nothing wrong with you using the name Jesus the name Yeshua protects you against deception, and it helps you to know for sure if we are talking about the Biblical Yeshua or some other person named Jesus.
If you truly value your soul, you would never allow anyone to interpret the Bible for you. Bible reading and Bible study where you allowed the Bible to speak for itself, would be just as important to you as eating, drinking water and sleeping.
Those who truly value their souls and studies the Bible would soon know that the Bible is a Jewish book and its all about the Jews and their God. You would see how all through the Bible the Jewish God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob invites gentiles to become Jews by choosing to obey His Torah. And you would see this culminate in the cross where Yeshua dies to free us from the law of jealousy making it possible for all to become a Jew by faith and obedience.
You would know that in the Bible faith always shows itself in action; we never see faith as an intellectual principle or as mental acceptance of information. If you have faith in something or someone in the Bible you choose to act on your faith and this is why Abraham who knew the Torah (Gen 26:5) was declared righteous.
You would be able to listen to a sermon and know immediately if the preacher talking was giving you biblical food telling you the truth or not. But most important of all, you would value your soul just as much as you would value your life, health and possessions.
If more Christians valued their souls, they would read the Bible more, and by doing so, they would change this world because more Christians would become more like Yeshua by living out their faith in Him every day. (1. John 2:6)
If you value your soul so much that you made it a priority to read your Bible every day you would know it says it is easy to be righteous, just choose to obey the Torah (the law of Moses). But you would also know it says you can’t be reconciled to Yehovah (God) by obedience, that can only be done by faith in the cross shown in obedience to the Torah.
Do Christians value their souls just as much as they value their own lives and possessions?
When 69% of all adults who profess to be Christians choose not to read their Bible every day, and there are more than 40 000 + denominations in this world, the answer is no. Christians do not care for their souls the way they care for their lives and their possessions. They are satisfied with having their pastor or favorite TV evangelist/writer interpret the Bible for them, so when they are told things like “its impossible to obey the Torah, Jesus came to free us from the Torah, now we are under grace, not law” they believe those lies. If they had just opened their Bible and read it for themselves they would have seen the truth that says you are well able to obey the Torah, Jesus came to teach us how to obey it properly, and we are still under the law.
Because most Christians do not value their souls, they believe in a god who expects them to obey the Torah (the law of Moses) but knows it is impossible for them to do so. And because it is impossible for them to obey the Torah, they believe God sends them to hell if they dont believe in Jesus who obeyed it for them. Nobody in their right minds wants to serve a god like that sends you to hell for a something that is impossible for you to do.
Is it any wonder there are more than 40 000 + denominations in this world, and we do not see a revival?
When unsaved people hear us telling them they need to believe in Jesus to be saved and then hears us telling them the lie that God expects us to obey the Torah which we can’t obey, it makes no sense to them. Nobody would want to accept and worship a god like that, but because most Christians do not value their souls enough to open their Bibles they accept this false image of God, and they even tell others about it.
When you believe in a false image of Yehovah you are guilty of idolatry, idolatry is a sin.
Because most Christians do not value their souls, they believe the lie it is now ok to eat unclean foods and ignore the Shabbat as long as they believe in Jesus and live morally clean lives. They would never say it is now ok to lie, steal, murder as long as they believe in Jesus. Because they believe a mortal human being more than they believe the Bible, they have accepted the lie that they can sin by eating unclean foods, ignore the Shabbat and still make it to heaven when they die. The Bible, on the other hand, says it is a sin to eat unclean food, it is a sin to ignore the Shabbat, and it is a sin to live morally unclean lives.
I am not trained as a surgeon and have never operated on a human being. I value my life too much to have someone who is not trained as a surgeon operates on me if I should someday require surgery. I also value my possessions, so I would never allow anyone who is not trained as a mechanic to fix my car. I want someone who knows what they are doing to fix my car if it needs repairs. But I also value my soul, so I choose to let the Bible speak for itself and not allow a mortal human being to interpret it for me.
Do you value your soul?
If the answer is yes, you need to start reading your Bible on a daily basis and allow it to speak for itself. It will require you to change a lot of the things you have believed about the Bible that will turn out not to be true. But if you value your soul, you will allow that change to happen, even if it can be a painful change because you might be required to make some changes as to what preacher/denomination you will listen to in the future. Perhaps you might even lose friends who dont want to build their faith and relationship with God on the Bible but insists on following mortal human beings instead.
If you chose to have a car mechanic do surgery on you and having a surgeon to fix your car, it could mean the loss of your life and a car that won’t run. If you choose to build your faith on the opinions of mortal human beings, instead of on the Bible, it could mean the loss of your soul and an eternity in hell.
The Bible says in Matthew 7:21-23 there will come a time when Christians who confess Jesus as Lord and Savior will hear Him say “depart from Me for I never knew you, your workers of lawlessness.” Right now there billions of Christians in this world who dont value their souls enough to read the Bible, they build their faith on what their pastor or favorite TV preacher/writer says about the Bible. So they believe that as long as they have “prayed the sinner’s prayer” and asked Jesus into their hearts, they are ok and on their way to heaven. They believe that as long as they live morally clean lives, believing in Jesus, they are ok and on their way to heaven. These people are living in sin and will one day hear Yeshua telling them “depart from Me for I never knew you your workers of lawlessness.”
Right now, at this very moment, there are billions of Christians in hell who never read their Bible. They prayed the sinner’s prayer, they asked Jesus into their heart, and they believed what their pastor told them about the Bible. They believed it was impossible for them to obey the Torah and that now they did not have to obey the Shabbat or eat clean foods. They believed Jesus kept the law for them, so they were righteous by faith in what He did and His obedience, they are now in hell and they will be there forever.
When you die and leave this earth, you can’t claim ignorance as long as you have access to a Bible. If you have access to the internet you have access to online bibles; if you have access to a Bible, you have access to the truth. If you choose to ignore the truth and instead obey the opinions of mortal men, you will have to carry the consequences yourself. The consequence will be an eternity in hell.
For all those billions of Christians who are right now burning in hell, it is too late. They can’t go back and start reading their Bible again, dont do what they did. Start reading your Bible.
The Bible is very clear on one thing, Yehovah considers it a sin to ignore the Shabbat just as much as He considers it a sin to eat unclean foods and live morally unclean lives. So if you choose to live morally clean lives but eat unclean foods and ignore the Shabbat, you are still living in sin and will one day hear Him say “depart from Me you workers of lawlessness.”
Do you value your soul?
If you do, you will value it just as much as you value your life, your car, and your other possessions by allowing the Bible to speak for itself.
The Bible also says in John 1 that Yeshua (Jesus Christ) is the word of God. In John 14:15 it says that if you truly love Him, you would also obey Him and in 1.John 2:6 it says that if you claim to be united with Him, you will live your life as He lived His life.
How would you feel if someone claimed to love you and be your friend, but they never asked you for your opinion on things and did not care about anything you said. They based their friendship with you on what other people told them about you? You would not consider them to be good friends at all; you would not know who they were. A good friend respects your opinions and wants to have a relationship with you, not a relationship built on others opinions about you.
How do you think Yeshua feels when we dont care about His opinions, and we base our relationship with Him on what our pastor says about Him, instead of what He says in His word?
He can’t have a relationship with you based on what others say about Him.
Today it is Friday, and the Shabbat begins in a few hours from now. The Bible says that when the sun sets today, it would be a sin for you to work for money, or to make others work for money. So make sure you do your groceries today before the sun sets. There are of course exceptions to this if you have a medical emergency you are allowed to break Shabbat. If you have a medical condition that only allows you to do certain things during the weekend, you are allowed to break Shabbat, but if it can wait until tomorrow when the sun sets, it has to wait.
Next Friday I will be back with another teaching from the Bible, remember to send me your prayer and prophecy requests, its free of charge. Use the send message buttons on Facebook, and I will respond as soon as possible.
Yehovah bless you
